NBA Playoffs

Jesse Bellamy, Staff Writer

With the NBA playoffs in full effect and historic performances happening every night, we as fans are witnessing one of the best times in the NBA.

Lebron James is arguably having one of his best postseasons yet and it may be his most important legacy wise, as many believe that Lebron’s chance of surpassing Michael Jordan, as the greatest of all time will not be possible with another championship loss or not making the Finals at all. Lebron is certainly trying to win another championship but the lack of superstar talent on his team compared to years past may be a problem

With the Boston Celtics looking for an upset in the conference finals, this may be the year the King is dethroned in the east as Boston leads the series 2-1.

In the western conference the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors are facing off in the most anticipated series of the year. The Rockets, who have claimed they are built to beat the Warriors and have the best regular season record in the NBA, are looking to prove they are in fact the best team in the NBA. While the Warriors have said they weren’t hoping to play the Rockets they do welcome the challenge.Being led by Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry the Warriors show no signs of slowing down, and after stealing a huge win from Houston in game one of the WCF, the Warriors are looking to win their third championship in four years. GSW leads 2-1.
