On Friday, November 18th, the Men’s and Women’s varsity basketball teams hosted “Late Night” as a way to raise money and get fans excited for the start of Basketball season. Each member of the teams were introduced and had the spotlight shone on them for a few seconds as the crowd cheered them on. The theme for the night was neon, and the student section showed out in glowsticks and construction vests. Performances from the dance and cheer teams were featured to further hype up the crowd. A tournament was offered to anyone who was willing to pay 5 dollars to make a half-court shot for a chance to win a Chick-fil-a gift card. Quite a few people rose up to the challenge. Trojans, future and former tried and tried but only a few were able to make it. The games carried on with a relay challenge between two future Trojans. After the competitions ended, the scrimmages began. The crowd was awesome and both teams gave a great preview of what to expect from them this season.
