This February, the drama club here at West put on their 10th annual Black history month play. This year’s play, “The Meeting” was a success with almost 400 people coming out to see the show. The play was about a dramatized meeting between Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. The play showed events throughout history that helped end segregation and many different people from the civil rights movement told their stories. The audience left with an understanding of what people went through to get where we are today with equality.
