West Brunswick and North Brunswick, two opposing varsity teams, tied in double overtime on October 17. The Scorpions received their second tie of the season, while we had our first. Because the players were evenly matched, neither team was able to get an advantage. Senior goalie, Brayden Griffith, also known as commander, as well as Senior, Jacob Rumsey protected the goal throughout night.
Varsity warmed up behind the goal during the junior varsity game to sharpen their footwork and get their blood pumping for the cold game ahead of them. Throughout the game, there were numerous close shots and saves that either team could have gotten. But since both teams tried their best and played to their true potential, we had to end in a tie.
