On Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, The Varsity girls volleyball team went up against New Hanover high school. The game started at 6:30 and the match went off on an intense start. The game went back and forth, both teams always super close to each other one could feel the tension in the air. The first set ended off on a nail biting 24-26 in favor of the West Brunswick Trojans.
But after the hard fought set, the Hanover Wildcats were not done. They were not going to let their spirits be crushed that easily. As they went on to the second set, the Wildcats put up a great performance winning the set 25-21, making the score tied. But the West Brunswick Trojans took that set personally. After that they were not holding back, they went on to win the next set 25-16. A lot less close than the last two previous sets. Finally The Trojans decided to keep this momentum going. Finally they went on to win the fourth and final set 25-15. With a win for the Lady Trojans and a final score of 3-1.
