It’s the last day of regular school! On Friday, December 13, before exam week begins it was a “Festive Friday.” The theme this Friday was “Dress like Christmas Threw Up on You”. The goal was to be as Christmassy as possible.
From ugly sweaters, to PJ pants, cute headbands, and even just red and green outfits people dressed up. Many people showed their Christmas spirit, even having our very own Saint Nick. Junior Nicholas Tantillo came all dressed up in his Santa suit.
“I love Christmas,” said Tantillo. “It’s just a happy time of the year and I hope everyone enjoys it.”
As the holiday season begins and school starts to whine down this is a great way to get people involved and bring people together for the last regular day of school. It’s also a great way to have some fun before the stressful exam week.
“I wanted to show everyone my elf onesie,” said sophomore Emma Lockner. “And have some fun dressing up before exams start.”
Spirit Days are ran by Mrs. Saunders Leadership class. Rather than doing a whole week of Christmas themed days they decided to switch to “Festive Fridays” for the month of December. The previous week was “Christmas PJ’s” then of course “Dress Like Christmas Threw Up on You” was this week.
“Have a holly jolly Christmas,” said Tantillo. “I hope everyone has a great Christmas and good New Year.”
