Over the March 24th weekend,the Ocean Isle Fishing Center had their annual Boat Show to demonstrate the durability of these vessels.
Captain Brant McMullan recruits several boat companies and distributors to bring the best fishing vessels they have, which helps showcase their capabilities and bring more individuals to the fishing community.
People involved can watch short thirty minute seminars on specific fishing styles and strategies for fishing in different ocean zones. To watch demonstrations on the fishing boats, anyone can ask to catch a quick offshore ride and take a look at all the new technology being used on the vessels.
The boat show is also a great form of advertising for both the store and restaurant, which allows for a boost in the local economy during the weekend.
