Our Two Scents: West Wind Perfume Reviews
Perfume has been an essential part of routines for years. It’s a little something to boost your self esteem and feel more confident when interacting with others. Some people like fresh scents, while others like floral aromas. A few may like woodsy scents or a hint of vanilla, but here’s West Wind’s “two scents” ranked below:
This perfume is a West Wind favorite with notes of salted caramel, vanilla, pistachio, almond, and sandalwood. It’s very sweet, not too strong, and can be perfect for anyone. It reminds people of summer and joy. It also serves as a body mist that can be used for multiple sprays.
A classic, but good perfume with notes of sweet vanilla, and cashmere. It’s very popular around the classroom, and brings a strong sense of comfort.
“I love the notes of this one.” said sophomore Emma Lockner, “It never gets old.”
Like above, vanilla scents are a favorite. Being Frenshe has a comforting scent with strong notes of creamy vanilla, warm cashmere, and small hints of toasted jasmine rice and musk. This is my favorite, and I can’t stop using it.
It is very warm and sparkling and has a hint of sandalwood, and amber. It also offers a balanced blend of floral scents. It can be considered affordable, in relation to some of the other perfumes listed.
Opens with a refreshing french sage, along with velvet musk for warmth. Has a flirty, sweet and subtle scent that lasts all day. Let’s not also forget the beautiful packaging this perfume comes in: pink glass bottle adorned with a glitter pink ribbon. Price ranges from twenty to fifty dollars.
Similar to the 62, Sol de Janerio 40, known as a ‘sultry and delicate’ mist pulls you in with warm notes of black amber plum, and makes you stay with vanilla, jasmine and musk.
“I carry this one in my book bag everyday,” said Jaylynn Barron. “It’s like my staple scent especially during the fall.”
Fresh cream smells exactly how you might imagine it to smell. Like cream, and milk. It is very delicate and offers a blend of vanilla. The sweetness and floral gives it a unique scent that just makes you want to reapply.
With a dessert-like smell, at number 8 we have Truly’s soft serve body spray. It has notes of strawberries and cream, with the warmth of its vanilla and amber. It’s perfect for summer, and is not overpowering at all. This one is absolutely delectable and it lasts all day.
This perfume was launched in 2022 and is known for its “dark, woody, and alluring” fragrance. It retails from $26 to $78 depending on the size of your bottle. While it is a little pricey, making it second to last on the list, it is still a scent we felt we needed to include because of its popularity and earthy scent.
This perfume was not a favorite, but we couldn’t forget it. It has a fruity, soft, and floral scent to every spray. It lasts 6-8 hours and is offered like most, in a travel and regular size bottle for a much cheaper price than something you might find in Ulta.
“My favorites are Billie Ellish No. 2 and Bare Vanilla by Victoria’s Secret,” said sophomore Rivers Hicks. “It smells really good.”
