5/20 End Of Year West Wind Celebration Dinner

On the last day of school, The West Wind journalism class came together one final time to celebrate a year of hard work. The group met up at Fish Co, a local restaurant, where they shared laughs, memories, and a meal. Everyone dressed up for the occasion. The highlight of the evening was handing out awards, recognizing each member’s unique talents, like “Most Detailed,” “Most Creative,” and “Tiktok Queen.” These lighthearted honors shows the spirit of the class and celebrated the different ways everyone had contributed throughout the year. It was a moment to reflect on their accomplishments and the bonds they had formed through chasing stories and deadlines. The class made thoughtful gift baskets for seniors Hannah Underwood, Brooklyn Coble, and Tyler Harbin. Filled with snacks and their favorite things, the baskets were a small way to thank them for their hard work and send them off with love. The night was filled with laughter, conversations, and love. It was the perfect way to wrap up the year.
