Spirit Week is one of the most exciting times of the school year! Everyone looks forward to it because each day has a fun theme, and we all get to show off our school spirit. The week leads up to the big homecoming game, which makes everything even more exciting. On Thursday, October 9th, our Trojans got to feel like royalty for Prince and Princess Day!
When the day finally came, the halls were full of sparkly crowns, shiny tiaras, and fancy dresses. Every grade level had students dressed up as their favorite princes and princesses. We saw lots of Belles, Tianas, and Cinderellas walking around, along with a few creative twists on classic fairytale looks. Some people went all out with glitter and makeup, while others added their own touches like sneakers, jewelry, or even gowns. Everywhere you looked, someone was sparkling and smiling
“Wearing a dress at school felt funny,” said junior Alyssa Hewett. “once I saw more of my friends engaged and wearing dresses I felt better and more confident in dressing up for spirit week.”
The whole day had a magical feeling. Everyone was taking pictures, laughing with friends, and complimenting each other’s outfits. Even a few teachers joined in and wore crowns, which made it even more fun. It really felt like our school had turned into a fairytale castle for the day!
Prince and Princess Day was one of the best parts of Spirit Week because it let everyone be creative and confident. It wasn’t just about the clothes—it was about having fun and showing school pride. Seeing everyone come together and enjoy the day made it extra special. By the end of the day, we were all still smiling and talking about our favorite outfits. Spirit Week always brings everyone closer, and this one definitely reminded us why being a Trojan is something to be proud of!
