Mrs. Vaught’s First Period Hallway Murals

Nov 1, 2018

Every year, Mrs. Vaught’s Senior art classes work on hallway murals to leave their mark on the school. Eventually, all of the hallways will have past students’ artwork brightening up the walls. An array of artists’ works from various time periods and artistic styles create a school-wide gallery for students, faculty, and visitors to see.

  • Christian Gonzalez paints “The Sleeping Gypsy” by Henri Rousseau.

  • Sarah Kinlaw diligently paints a still life by French artist, Paul Cezanne.

  • Zachary Hughes uses a Q-Tip to create the Pointillism effect in “Skull” by Michael Creese.

  • Cailee Gore paints “Carcass of Beef” by Chaim Soutine.

  • Isaiah LaForce paints “Mountain, Table, Anchor, Navel” by Jean Arp.

  • Katie Argo uses shades of green to make a vibrant and detailed turtle.

  • Jadon Smith paints the vibrant colors in Marc Chagall’s painting.

  • Chaim Soutine’s expressionist still-life “Carcass of Beef”

  • Katie Argo and Zachary Hughes paint their hallway murals!
