PBIS Spring Fling

Jay Fletcher defeating his fellow students in corn hole.

PBIS students with good grades, attendance, and behavior got a breath of fresh air today during the Spring Fling. More than half of the student population at West was recognized and invited to the event, based on their behavior and attendance. A 3 on 3 basketball and 3-Point Contest were hosted in the gym, with snow cones brought by Pelicans and a Photo-booth opportunity in the Gym Lobby. Meanwhile, outside there was face-painting and a Corn-Hole Tournament. It all turned out to be a great success. Keep your grades up, stay on the right path, and we hope to see you next year!

“I am more than proud of our school and students for having 760 students invited and around 650 show up to a location” said Mr.Paschal.

Unlike past events, many students who were invited did not leave early. Good support from all students, fair competition, and good school spirit left us with ZERO incidents. This gave many students and faculty hopes for more events in the future
