Schools all over the world have changed for what they perceive as for the better. Multiple school shootings have adjusted the way people think about safety in schools. Because of this, many precautions have been established to help make school environments feel safer.

Personally, my stepsister attends a school where the student body is only allowed to wear a clear book bag. Some schools have metal detectors, ID cards for students, more school resource officers, along with many other methods to ensure the safety of their students and staff. At my school, the doors are locked throughout the entire day to ensure that a potential predator could not come in, followed by other safety measurements.

In the school systems today, students worry about their lives because of this ongoing crisis. Our government is trying their best to protect students and promote safety for all children to attend school without worries.
