Grace DiBenedetto is a sophomore this year at West Brunswick. Dibenedetto was born in Supply, North Carolina and grew up in Holden Beach. She grew up with her two siblings, Mason and Giuliana. She is involved in school, and loves hanging out with her friends and family.
“Usually I spend my time at dance, the beach, or I’m at school,” said DiBenedetto. “I also like to draw and take pictures in my free time, that’s one of the main reasons I decided to take the journalism class.”
DiBenedetto has been dancing for 13 years, she started dancing when she was only two years old. She currently dances competitively for the Brunswick School of Dance. She fell in love with dance at a very young age and it has made a huge impact on her life. DiBenedetto aspires to further her education at a four year university and major in photography.
“The photography aspect of journalism is what first sparked my interest in the class,” said DiBenedetto. “I would like to get more involved in writing, while learning more about journalism.”
DiBenedetto has always had a love and passion for photography, it’s one of the main reasons she decided to become a part of the journalism staff. DiBenedetto hopes to further her knowledge for writing and photography while taking the journalism program at West Brunswick.
