Willow Peltier is a 17-year-old senior at West Brunswick High School. She was born in Greenville, SC, and grew up in Greenville, Ocala, FL, and Shallotte NC. This is her first year as a writer for the West Wind. 

After high school, she wants to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall of 2025.  “I want to major in journalism and be a part of a school newspaper,” said Peltier She was inspired to join the west wind after seeing a broadcast online. “I am looking forward to getting more involved with the school”, said Peltier

Other than journalism, Peltier’s hobbies are reading and playing lacrosse. Peltier believes, “being a part of a team is important for character development.”
