Yulisa Ciprian is a senior this year. She was born in Wilmington but raised mostly in a small area called Ash, North Carolina she was raised with two younger sibling's moving back and forth from Ash to Shallotte, North Carolina for about a year. She moved back to ash where she finally stayed for 10 years after moving back from Shallotte.

Ciprian has been wanting to write and photograph, she was first interested in being a photographer since she was young and started getting more interested when she first flew to Houston, TX where she stayed a couple of days with her cousins to celebrate her eighteenth birthday during Christmas season where she got to take many photos to have memories.These were some of the best memories she has had in a while being close to her family.
Ciprian said she never believed she would continue with this optional career because she is also interested in studying cosmetology where she is more passionate about doing peoples makeup for events and doing people nails..

Ciprian will be attending BCC for next semester to start her cosmetology career and continue study for cosmetology and photography.

“I might've never been in journalism but it is an opportunity for me to learn and express everything i want to let out,” said Ciprian. "Whatever you're going for don't give up, continue your path and you will achieve if you take the time and put much effort because at the end of the day you'll be the one achieving. You Can Do This!"
