As spring comes to a start and times change, the madness of college basketball begins for the 2025 March Madness season. This comes with a lot of planning but mostly luck. 

March Madness is a tournament that comes around every year in college basketball, where teams play in a tournament to be the last team standing. According to many, Duke is predicted to win this year’s dance as the best team in college basketball. The last team picked in this year’s March Madness season is UNC as they are the underdogs.

Many might not know how to make a bracket. First, you need to study teams playing in this year’s tournament, look at their records, injuries, and rivalries. In the first round, pick teams that you believe are going to win each match up. This should be common sense, or upsets, which means lower-seed teams beat higher seed teams. 

There are risks as you go through each round, over 3.1 billion dollars is spent on betting for both men’s and women’s basketball and still remains America’s biggest betting event. 

There are 68 teams that come with making your bracket which is 1 in 9.2 quintillion of having a perfect bracket, many lose lots of money from these predictions. Which is mainly due to favorites and performance, even one slip up can change your whole bracket. 

I Have confidence in Auburn making it to the Final Four, said coach Aaron Taylor. There are a lot of good teams playing in this year’s season. I think the biggest team they’ll face is Duke.”

Huston, Auburn, Duke, and Florida are the favorite schools to make it to the final four this year. (add more)
