West calls a time-out to discuss the upcoming plays.
On the chilly night of Friday, December 15th the Varsity Boys basketball team went up against Hoggard for the last game before Christmas. The student section dressed up for the holidays and the gym was packed, resulting in a lively game where West and Hoggard were frequently neck-in-neck.
West scored 11 points in the first quarter, 13 in the second, 16 in the third, and 19 in the fourth. Despite the increase of scores per quarter and consistent shots by K’Veon Griffin the team ultimately lost a hard-fought game to Hoggard with a final score of 72-59.
