Arianna Akay , Staff Writer
Arianna Akay is currently a junior at West Brunswick and this is her first semester serving as a staff member for the West Wind. She is excited to improve her writing skills and use this opportunity to give a voice to the voiceless. Akay is active in school clubs and extra curricular activities such as National Honor Society, Show Choir, and tutoring elementary school children. She enjoys creative writing and multiple pieces of her work have been featured in the Literary Magazine. As a writer, she looks forward to expanding her views yet connecting with many different kinds of people. Outside of school, you can catch Akay getting addicted to new Netflix shows, passed out with a really good book in hand, or with a mic in front of a crowd.
