On Monday, May 10th the West Brunswick varsity softball team threw a banquet at Captain Nance’s, hosted by Mayor Donna Long. The team voted players for the awards, “Golden Glove”, “Silver Slugger”, “MVP”, “Energizer Bunny”, “Most Improved”, and “Moment of the Season”, last week. Coach John Sullivan handed out these awards after the players and their families enjoyed a delicious meal with a beautiful view of the water. Varsity letters were also passed out after dinner to each player. After awards, guests took pictures, ate cake, and socialized. What a great way to celebrate their season.
