West Brunswick Men’s varsity vs New Hanover

On Tuesday February 13th the West Brunswick Men’s Varsity basketball team went against New Hanover. The game ended in a 46-81loss for the Trojans but the boys still played their hearts out and gave it their all.

Savannah Robinson
Savannah Robinson a 15-year-old sophomore who is now taking her first semester of journalism. Robinson was born in Monroe NC where she moved to Ash NC. She is a part of the softball team, and was picked to go to the World Series for her recreational softball team in 2023.  After High School, Robinson plans on going to Gardner-Webb to get her teaching degree. “I want to teach in special education,” said Robinson. “Because in some schools, the people who need extra help can’t get it because they do not have the available staff.” Robinson was inspired to get her teaching degree when she saw that some kids don’t get the help they need. If all goes according to plan, Robinson will continue to play Softball in college “I want to teach in special education,” said Robinson. “Because in some schools, the people who need extra help can’t get it because they do not have the available staff.” Robinson's hobbies are that she likes to read and babysit. The books she likes to read are romantic books. She likes to babysit because she likes to work with kids.
