On Thursday, the Women’s Varsity Soccer had a home game against the Ashley Eagles, which had excited many people for the game. It was a hot afternoon, and the women were excited and ready to get out onto the field to start the game.

The first quarter began with both teams aggressively fighting for the ball and making sure to keep it away from their nets, but as the Trojans pushed hard to Ashley’s net, they were not strong enough to push past their defenses. The Trojans were able to show strong defense by keeping Ashley away from the net, but Ashley was able to break through and score one point, ending this quarter 0-1.

During halftime, the Trojans were able to recuperate and go over their plans for the final quarter. Even when Ashley kept applying pressure towards the Trojans’ net, they knew that Ashley would be a tough opponent, so they weren’t going to give up just yet.

In the second quarter, both teams started strong and ran up and down the field to their nets. The Trojans were able to make it to Ashley’s net a few times, but their shots kept on getting blocked and or intercepted by Ashley, who was not gonna let them stay for long.

The Trojans were able to keep up with Ashley’s fierce attacks at their goal and block most of the shots taken towards their goal, but it wasn’t enough to stop them from making three more goals, ending the game 0-4. The Ladies might have lost this game against Ashley, but that won’t stop them from trying out new tactics and learning to work as a team to come out on top.
