Hobbies: Horseback riding
Angelica Giaquinto is a 15 year old sophomore, who aspires to be an equine chiropractor. It is
her very first year at West Brunswick High School. She spends her free time horseback riding
and playing with her two dogs and three cats. She moved here from Thornton, Colorado, earlier
this year, and she enjoys her new home in North Carolina. Horseback riding is one of her
passions. She rode her horse, Rumble, many times in Colorado. She also is passionate about
taking care of horses for a career. She wants to be an equine chiropractor.
“I placed first in horse agility,” said Giaquinto. “I am currently teaching younger children how to
horseback ride here at a local stable.”
Giaquinto gained an interest in journalism because she wanted to see what it was all about. She
also wanted to see how she could help out with the newspaper. This is Giaquinto’s first year in
journalism.
“I wanted to help my school out and be a part of something different,” said Giaquinto. “I am so
excited to cover important events that are happening here at school, so I can share information
with other students.”
Giaquinto is enjoying her time in North Carolina and plans to go to the beach quite frequently, as
well as continue her horseback riding endeavors and help others learn about horses and horse
care.
