On Thursday, October 5th the West Brunswick varsity women’s tennis team went out and celebrated the end of the season and their seniors, Grace Watson and Vanessa Leon. After their invigorating rivalry game against North Brunswick High School they all met up at local restaurant “Smoked” who kindly hosted the event for the team.

The team had lots of fun throughout the celebration. Everyone talked and had a great time reminiscing on stories from this season and previous years, while eating good food. Several photo sessions occurred and team photos were taken to hold for many years. The night ended with full stomachs and bittersweet goodnight’s with the season officially coming to an end.

This is Watson’s second year playing tennis making senior night an emotional one for not only herself but the team as well.

“Tennis gave me the opportunity to meet the most amazing girls,” said Watson. “Whose friendship made the sport worthwhile.”

While the women’s team didn’t have a great record this year they “love all.” Including the sport and one another.
