For the 2018 winter season, Madison Ward was elected for junior student of the month. Ward is the founder and president of Debate Club, President of Science Olympiad and vice president of DECA. Mr. Pardee, a science teacher, nominated Ward because of her hard work in AP Physics.
“She is one of the hardest working students,” said Pardee. “She is polite, respectful and overall a great person!”
Ward goes above and beyond when it comes to clubs and academics. Outside of school she participates as teen court attorney and volunteers for an internship for district court judge. Ward also participates in school sports, she was a starter for the tennis team.
Being a well rounded and hard working student can be overwhelming, but Ward uses her determination to inspire others.
“ I use my leadership positions to inspire students to become the best versions of themselves,” said Ward.
