Whether you want to clean up your room, or run through a field with a flower crown on, this playlist has something for you. From Lana Del Rey to Jimmy Buffett, this list of songs will take you on a spring fling of fun.

“Florida Kilos” by Lana Del Rey has a great “riding in a Jeep with the windows down, letting your hair go everywhere” feel to it. You don’t even have to have a Jeep to get into the feels of this song. You could be like me and have a Volkswagon Jetta and still get into the spring vibe.

“Boyfriends” by Harry Styles. Who wouldn’t want to listen to a song off of the 2023 Album of the Year? “Boyfriends,” off of the album “Harry’s House” has an amazing spring vibe. The song is slow but has an extremely peaceful guitar melody behind the powerful words. This song is a must in the springtime, and with that I guarantee that your spring playlist will be a 10/10 if you add this to the mix.

“American Hero” by Rainbow Kitten Surprise is a great spring adventure song; it kind of sounds like a Vacation Bible School song not going to lie, but it also sounds like it belongs in a coming-of-age movie and makes you feel like the main character. While listening to this song, you might find yourself daydreaming about running with a group of friends or riding bikes as fast as you can during spring break.

“Foreword” by Tyler, The Creator (ft. Rex Orange County). This is one of two rap-like songs in the playlist. This isn’t dirty rap like 21 Savage or Carti. Tyler has a very serious rap structure to his music and with the addition of Rex Orange County, who has an extreme summer and spring only vibe you get the perfect spring song that you and your friends can go drive around Ocean Isle Beach and blast through your speakers.

“A Pirate Looks at Forty” by Jimmy Buffett. I have a few other songs like this in the playlist, but I think the addition of Jimmy Buffett ties the spring vibe together. “A Pirate Looks at Forty” is another 10/10 song. Listening to it will teleport you to the beach sitting in a chair with your feet in the cool water. On the beach or on a boat is exactly where everyone who lives in coastal North Carolina wants to be in the springtime, and this song will do it for you every single time.
