The Sweet Tooth

(Sweet) Ice Ice Baby

As an avid browser of the Instagram explore page, I am no stranger to mesmerizing videos of ice cream being rolled. So, in hopes of consuming heaven on earth and getting a super dope time lapse for my personal feed, this week I set out to find some rolled ice cream.

To my surprise, I didn’t have to travel far and wide to locate just exactly what I was looking for: The Pablo Picasso of Dairy.

Sweet Ice was a 40-minute drive from my place so you can imagine my disappointment when the place appeared to be more than a little sketchy. Although looks can be deceiving because the ice cream was absolutely delicious. I watched as the man behind the counter easily did his job as if he had done it a million times before. Pouring the ice cream onto the frozen counter top, spreading it out, and simply rolling it up. I know that’s hard to visualize, so I attached my super dope time lapse that I mentioned earlier.

Onto the review: The overall presentation was stunning, especially for the short amount of time it took to construct it. It was seriously Ice Cream Art. I’m not much of an ice cream fan, but the taste did not disappoint. The texture made it taste almost different from regular ice cream and my sensitive teeth didn’t even mind the typically intolerable cold. I would recommend Sweet Ice to anyone and everyone with a sweet tooth. They had dozens of toppings and several different combinations already put together for customers to select. In my book, Sweet Ice is a solid 9/10.
