Kanye “Ye” West is having a tough time. His wife divorces him and gets a new man, his girlfriend breaks up with him, and his “friends” begin to turn on him. Ye has been spiraling on most forms of social media, raving about this “Skete” character, his nickname for Pete Davidson: actor, comedian, and Kim’s new boyfriend.

In 2019, Kanye shared his Bipolar Disorder diagnosis. Fans speculated this for years following an episode of temporary psychosis in 2016 that led to his hospitalization. In the years following these incidents, West seemed like he was doing better. Around the time the pandemic began and West began working on his “Donda” album, people noticed a change for the worse, citing his separation from Kardashian and strange things he posted on social media.

“IF ANYONE LOVES ME AND MY FAMILY IF YOU SEE SKETE IN REAL LIKE SCREAM AT YHE [sic] LOOSER AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS AND SAY ‘KIMYE FOREVER,’” said Kanye in one Instagram post.

Fans are becoming alarmingly concerned for the safety of his family. Kanye’s behavior has become extreme and borderline stalker-like. He is telling anyone that will listen that he is going to get back together with Kim, even though she has made it clear she does not want to reenter the relationship. He has even gone as far as to threaten Kim’s current boyfriend.

“UPON MY WIFE’S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF,” said Kanye in one Instagram post.

Although many people found this quote funny, others found it scary. This could be taken as a threat to Davidson’s life, and with Kanye’s recent erratic behavior, there is no way to tell how far he could take it. His complete disregard for what Kim wants or feels is completely unacceptable, as shown in the post following the one cited above: a screenshot where Kardashian asks him to stop broadcasting their private conversations online to which he refused.

The bottom line is no, Ye is not ok.
