October PBIS Staff Member of the Month
One of the staff members for PBIS staff of the month of October is Mrs. Jessica Skipper. Mrs. Skipper teaches both Math 1 and 2 and she has a great fondness for her job and the students.She was nominated by Mrs. Johnson.
“Mrs. Skipper is a good teacher because she goes out of her way to accommodate different types of learning styles,” said Johnson.
After being asked about how she felt hearing that her peers had such kind things to say, Mrs. Skipper stated, “I feel honored to be recognized by one of my peers as being good at my job. Its nice to hear it from someone who works with me and sees what I do on a daily basis.”
Both students and staff members admire Mrs. Skipper for her teaching ability in the classroom. She said her relationship with the students might be what makes her classroom feel different.
