On Friday, December 5th, the GFWC WBHS Juniorettes held an event for their club that helped them kick off the holiday season. The women were led by Melon Corsini, who brought home-made gingerbread cookies that were to die for. Corsini also brought any and all needed utensils to decorate and make the cookies as beautiful as possible. The women had many different colors of icing, different tips to be used, sprinkles in all forms, and spatulas.
The event began with Corsini showing the women how to cut the piping bags and how to make the right designs. She gave advice and help to anyone who needed it, and showed how to perfect everything. Everyone there was laughing and connecting while decorating, bringing the club closer together.
At the end, we put all the cookies together and looked at everyone’s work. We picked a winner for the best-decorated cookie, and of course, Melon Corsini won. It was fun to see all the creative designs everyone made. The event was a great way to kick off the holiday season.
