As Cole is running down the court dribbling his basketball, he starts to think about everything he has done to get to this point. He lifts his arms to shoot the winning shot for his team and he recalls everything. It all started 17 years ago in Wilmington, North Carolina when William Cole Hamilton was born.
“I lived there for 7 years, moved to Virginia, then came back to Wilmington,” Hamilton said. I've lived in a total of ten houses.”
Cole had to learn to grow used to change during this period in his life. Constantly having to make new friends everywhere he went gave him better social skills at a young age. These social skills will give him an advantage in his dream future career. After overcoming a sports-related injury his Junior year of High School, Cole hopes to attend a 4-year college to get his degree in Physical Therapy.
"Having two surgeries on my hip fueled my passion to become a Physical Therapist and help people going through similar situations." said Hamilton.
